Twas a good show and... EXCITING NEWS!!! Found out that Far is recording a full length instead of an ep that they were planning. Looking forward to their release on Vagrant. They encored w/their new cover of "Pony," by Ginuwine. Nicely done!!!

Oh man, Far kicked so much butt this evening. I mean, they opened w/their fastest song, "The System." Absolutely slayed it. No new songs, however they did say that their label hasn't heard one iota of the album and that Far are working on their own terms w/this record. Looking forward to that Spring release!!!

Last weekend was a blast seeing FAR. They always put on a great show and never disappoint. Jonah is an outstanding frontman and knows how to read the crowd and gives and receives the energy from the audience. This was an awesome set and it was a mixture of new and old. "Dear Enemy" off the new record is by far (pun intended) my favorite song. The title track of their new album, "At Night We Live" was a song written for Chi Cheng and his family and is a hopeful song. For the spirit of Chi, here's the set in its entirety:
