11/2/01 - Emo's, Austin, TX

This was my 2nd ever Houston show I ever witnessed live. Emo's is a very nice venue, it has 2 stages and Houston played on the main stage opening for Shiner with Land of El Caminoes and another band that I forget it's name. This is a nice set, however there are anomalies in the recording for some reason, at least the minidisc didn't fail to record the entire set. So note that the recording is faulty probably mid way through the set.

5/19/02 - Spaceland

By May 19, 2002, I had seen Houston several times. This particular show was with Shiner and it was one of the most amazing double bills I had ever seen on a somewhat small scale since it was at Spaceland. Wish I had photos from that show. But at least I captured it on minidisc.

9/12/02 - Casbah's

One of the few tours that Houston did without Shiner unfortunately cause only sparse Shiner fans are Houston fans. This show was at Casbah's opening for No Knife and Denali. I regret to inform that Denali set was not recorded. I wish I had, but only had so many minidiscs with me. This was a soundboard recording but the levels are crappy, it's an OKAY recording. A few songs there are blips and beeps and the end cuts out cos the minidisc was bad. Glad I'm not using the Sharp Minidisc anymore.

9/16/02 - The Garage

Listening back to this set, man, was Jeff pissed at Guitar Center. Hehehehe... Oh well, this came out pretty well and glad to upload it now. This show was a few days after the Casbah's show in San Diego. which was a great show. This one had a so-so turn out, I just remember that "The Garage" was all gritty and run down. A great place to play a show, but they don't have the best management back then. Now it's gone, prolly a mariachi bar.
